Our Worship team here at NBO is focused on one thing: Preparing the atmosphere for worship.

The Greek word Worship in the New Testament has the connotation of  "kissing the hand" of a master, similar to a dog greeting his owner. The old English word for worship (worth-ship) has the idea of delivering (ship) or expressing the value of something based on its qualities or by the esteem in which it is held (worth). So at NBO our Worship team is commited to "kissing the hand" of of God by giving to Him the expressions of our value of Him and the esteem which we feel for Him; all the bases of His perfect qualities.

In II Chronicals 20:21 King Jehoshaphat annointed the people to "sing to the Lord and to praise Him for the magnificence of His Holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying 'give thanks to the Lord, for his Love endures forever." Our worship team stands at the forefront of the NBO Army of the Lord to prepare the atmosphere for worship in order to usher the presence of the Lord.
